BERC works with several partners through its state designated Empire Zone and it's federal designation as a Renewal Community to facilitate economic development in the City of Buffalo. The 3 key economic development partners are, the Buffalo Niagara Enterprise, Erie County Industrial Development Agency and the Empire State Development Corporation who offer incentive packages to reduce development costs and operation expenses.
