Eric Gadley comes to the BERC from Greater Buffalo Savings Bank, where he was Vice President CRA and Community Development Officer. He has an extensive background in banking and community development, and is excited to begin working with the staff of the BERC to promote the loan programs.
"The opportunity to work at BERC is both challenging and exciting," said Gadley. "Over the years the BERC staff has done a tremendous job to strengthen our neighborhoods through the various economic development activities offered through our organization. I look forward to the challenge of continuing those efforts, as we strive to build a better Buffalo. "
Last month, the BERC announced the creation of a $1.7 million small business loan pool, with the assistance of many local banks. The loan pool enhances the ability of businesses to gain access to capital at low rates. It further solidifies the BERC’s commitment to help grow and create new businesses in Buffalo.
