The William Gaiter Parkway has been successfully developed as a vital tributary of commerce in Northeast Buffalo, amidst a dense residential community. Originally designed to support the continued investment in the area by American Axle, the parkway has spawned investment by other adjacent businesses, which had previously considered moving elsewhere. We Care Transportation and FCMP Corporation have built new facilities on the Parkway. Surianello Concrete and Quality Inspection Services have made substantial improvements to their facilities, and Rural Metro Ambulance Service will be building a regional headquarters on the Parkway. The William Gaiter Business Center, constructed by BERC with the assistance of ECIDA, is fully occupied and bursting at the seams. William Gaiter Parkway is included in the original New York State Empire Zone (EZ).
Action Plan: Assist current development projects at the Kensington/Gaiter Parkway site and Surinello Concrete.
